We're bringing the experience to you in Rye, this Summer!

Lime Spice Hawker Beach Bar launches its Asian fusion hawker style street food that is sure to tease every diners taste buds!

Pricing will start from under $15 for small dishes such as a range of bao buns filled with crispy whiting & herb salad or chargrilled pork, herbs & chilli jam. Larger dishes such as char kway teow, khao soi or pad krapow, green tea soba noodle salad, som dtam or chicken vermicelli salads and daily specials all form part of the distinct Asian style menu designed for sharing at Lime Spice.


A cocktail bar offers specialised drinks such as; the “Mama-san”: who doesn’t like a little spice with their lime margarita? Basil Mojito is a house specialty, or there's Lime Spice Tea Party that you can order in a carafe to share. Caramel Kiss made with vanilla gallino, cracken rum, coconut cream, ginger wine & salted caramel is to die for, the best cocktail on the menu. Most cocktails can be made without alcohol for the sobriety conscious!  A selective range of St Andrew's Beach Brewery beers, ciders, wines and bubbles completes the comprehensive local drinks list.

Venue Manager Misty and her team make sure the atmosphere is vibrant, fun and relaxed. A mural featuring mama-san keeping a watchful eye over proceedings adds to the mood.

Thursday to Saturday for Lunch from 12noon & Dinner from 5pm & Sunday Lunch from 12noon 

Please note, aligned with the directions from the Chief Medical Officer, only fully vaccinated guests will be permitted to dine with us. Please have your passport handy to show our staff.  

Meet our head chef  Lachy!

Under the watchful eye of Mama-san, Head Chef, Lachy Cashman and his team, many of whom are from South East Asia bring skill and authenticity to their cooking.  In keeping with culture and tradition, the dishes are designed for sharing. Lachy's expertise is in cooking authentic Thai, Japanese, Indonesian, Malay, Vietnamese brings exceptional modern hawker style Asian cuisine to Rye. 

The large Mama-san hero wall featured artwork brightens up the décor and keeps an observant eye on the restaurant and its customers!  A modern twist of earthy golds, Asian style artifacts and of course lime.
